If you are ready to make changes in your life to increase your overall happiness and wellbeing, then Your Daily Challenge is for you. You may want to purchase a journal for you to keep notes about what you are learning. It is a great thing to do to start off the new year but any time is a good time to begin the process of improving your mental health and happiness. Your first challenge will be sent the day after you sign up.
Mental Health and Happiness is a website designed to help you acquire the knowledge, learn the skills and create habits that will increase your happiness and overall wellbeing. This is not meant to replace counseling with a mental health professional should you require more than this website offers.
The work on this site is consistent with the teachings of Dr. William Glasser, creator of Reality Therapy and Choice Theory Psychology. The challenges are written by people trained in Dr. Glasser’ ideas who have been applying these concepts to increase their overall mental health and happiness. This does not mean that you will never be unhappy again. But when you apply these concepts and find yourself momentarily “unhappy,” you will quickly recognize you are unhappy and implement strategies almost immediately to move from that place to the more balanced place of mental health and happiness.
We have created 21-day Challenges to assist you in applying your new knowledge immediately by receiving an email every day for 21 days with a different focus each day. You will receive 21 consecutive emails and then you will get a 7-day break. After that break, a new more advanced 21-day challenge will begin followed by a another 7 day break. This pattern will continue for as long as you are subscribed to the site. You may unsubscribe at any time by clicking on the link at the bottom of any email you receive.
All we need is your name and email address.

I’ll see what this “challenge program” entails as it unfolds. I have recently read the book “Choice Theory: A New Psychology of Personal Freedom” by Dr. Glasser.

That’s our plan, Chris. Do you have any challenges you would like to contribute? I’m so glad you find this helpful.
Nice post. I be taught something more difficult on totally different blogs everyday. It should always be stimulating to read content from different writers and apply a bit something from their store. I’d choose to use some with the content material on my blog whether or not you don’t mind. Natually I’ll provide you with a link in your web blog. Thanks for sharing.
I signed up for the Daily Challenge. I received my first one yesterday. I have not received the second one for today. Do they come at different times of the day?
Hi Kim ,
I enjoy engaging with the 21 day Challenge.
Life is so busy with family ,work , volunteering ,I forget to stop and think of my blessings.
The email to my phone each day helps me to reframe my perception from surviving the challenges of my day towards being grateful for such riches in my day.
Thank you for this little daily blessing. I manage to stay positive.

Kim, I live in Akron, Ohio, and would love to see Dr. Glasser’s work implemented in a recovery setting, right here in the home of A.A.! There should be viable alternatives available to those like me and others who believe in self empowerment and free will, and I’d love to be involved in any efforts to do so…
I have been receiving my Daily Challenges regularly. I recently received an email as part of my challenge inviting me to write a testimonial. I would love to write a testimonial, however I was unable to find a way to do so on the site. The Daily Challenges have help me to think about the positive aspects in my life and have helped keep me focused on “doing” the things that will help me get my happiness back.
hi how is it going I enjoy engaging with the 21 day Challenge too.
